The article in the specialized magazine Progresdent was prepared in cooperation with the General University Hospital in Prague and the 1st Medical faculty of Charles University.

Now neuromuscular dentistry is one of the most rapidly developing fields in medicine. It focuses on temporomandibular joint disorders, chewing muscles disfunctions and occlusion defects.

Neuromuscular dentistry is based on the relaxation of chewing muscles. Neuromuscular therapy aims at creating the conditions for the rest of the orofacial muscles and the normalization of the functions of temporomandibular joint.
